Raul Briones Cup Recap: SoCal Elite Challenging La Familia FC in Group F

LA MIRADA, CA (December 8, 2024) – .For SoCal Elite, it's Group F for 'Familia'.

Jose Politron scored three goals as SoCal Elite set up a showdown with La Familia FC in the final group stage match after a 4-1 victory over Artesia DES FC in a SoCal Premier League Raul Briones Cup Group F match at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex in Fontana on Sunday, Dec. 8.

La Familia FC (2-0-0), last year's Raul Briones Cup runners-up, hosts SoCal Elite (2-0-0) at Los Angeles City College stadium on Sunday at 1 p.m. PT.

Buena Park FC stepped to the top of Group A with a 4-0 win over Olympiacos CA, while Real Sociedad O.C. played to a 1-1 draw with Viet OC FC in suddenly congested Group B,  and Medallo City FC and AMSG Elite both win to set up a Group C title matchup, and Darrin Vogel scored twice to lead FC United Kingdom to a 3-0 over Apex FC II in Group D.

Sporting SC beat Playmaker FC 2-0 to get going in Group E, La Familia FC beat Los Hermanos FC 3-0 in Group F and Cuervos FC kept pace in Group SD with an 4-1 win over San Diego Boca.
