PLAYER OF THE WEEK: FC United Kingdoms Darrin Vogel

LA MIRADA, CA (November 27, 2024) – FC United Kingdom defender Darrin Vogel has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Vogel scored twice as FC United Kingdom shut out Apex FC II 3-0 in a 24/25 Raul Briones Cup Group Stage match at Orange County Great Park in Irvine, CA, on Sunday, Dec. 8.

A Specialist with the Los Angeles County Fire Department, Vogel is U.S. Marine Corps veteran and participated in the 2016 United States Armed Forces Soccer Championship. He recently played for Inland Empire FC (UPSL).

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
