SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Medallo City FCs Julio Perez

LA MIRADA, CA (May 3, 2023) – Medallo City FC midfielder Julio Perez has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Perez scored a goal and had two assists as Medallo City FC defeated SoCalRoof.com FC 4-0 in a SoCal Premier League 2nd Division match on Sunday, April 30. Perez has been a key man in the middle this season for Medallo City FC (12-2-1 overall), which has secured a spot in the 2nd Division playoffs.

A native of Orange County, CA, Perez graduated from Loara High School in Fullerton, CA, and played two seasons at Cypress College (CCCAA), scoring 12 goals with eight assists in 40 career matches.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
