SWPL PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Desert FCs Francisco Quintanilla

LA MIRADA, CA (April 24, 2024) – Desert FC midfielder Francisco Quintanilla has been selected SWPL Player of the Week.

Quintanilla scored twice - including the match-winner - as Desert FC beat Union Amaya 3-2 in a SoCal Premier League Division One match at Ralph M. Lewis Sports Complex in Fontana on Sunday, April 21.

Born in Palm Springs, CA, Quintanilla graduated from Palm Springs High School. He previously played for Palm Desert Soccer Club.

The SWPL Player of the Week is selected from nominations from league members.
