San Diego Premier Recap: Chula Vista FC Keeping Pace

SAN DIEGO (June 10, 2024) – Chula Vista FC still has something to say about this inaugural season.

Oscar Hernandez scored twice in the first half, and Jorge Navarro added two more goals in the second half as Chula Vista FC beat Cuervos FC San Diego 5-1 in a San Diego Premier League match at Pershing Middle School on Sunday, June 9.

The win sets up a showdown between Chula Vista FC (4-1-0 overall) and White Tigers FC (4-1-0) on Saturday night that could determine the league title.

The San Diego Premier League champion advances to the SWPL Finals at Biola University in La Mirada in July.
